Property Description
Horse Creek Lodge in Sun West Ranch is an elegant, custom-built home with wonderful features including a screened porch and decks overlooking Horse Creek. Located an easy hour's drive away from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, it’s a great place to land for park visiting. Three miles of the world-famous Madison River runs through the main ranch providing great fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities. The lodge has an open floor plan with a comfortable living, dining, and kitchen area. The master king bedroom with a full bathroom and jacuzzi tub is on the main floor. The lower level has a second queen bedroom with an ensuite full bath and a third bedroom sleeps four in bunk beds and an additional 2 in twin beds. Newly added are separate sleeping quarters above the garage for 4 in a King bed and a double bed.
There are numerous hiking trails in the area, as well as some beautiful scenic drives that meander through fields of summer wildflowers. The lodge is about an hour's drive from Cliff and Wade Lakes, known for their clear, almost tropical-looking water. The lakes are surrounded by dense forests and cliffs, and visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating and hiking throughout the summer.
