Property Description
Relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from this charming riverside home overlooking the famous Madison River. The river below is a stone's throw from the spacious deck which offers expansive views of the Madison Valley. Although there is no direct access to the river from the house, you can find numerous access sites within a few miles of the house to drop in your drift boat, kayak, or float tube.
The Master bedroom has a King bed and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a sliding door that leads out to the deck which overlooks the river and the expansive Madison Mountain Range. Bedroom 2 holds a Queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has two Twin beds. All three bedrooms in the main house have views of the river and mountains. There is a bathroom in the hallway with a tub/shower combination. Riverbend House is centrally heated and equipped with ceiling fans. It is only a five-minute drive to the charming town of Ennis where you can find shops, groceries, and numerous restaurants.
Little Riverbend Cabin is an additional rental located less than 20 yards from the main house. While you can not see the river from the cabin, it looks out over the center of the property where the deer love to graze and there is a beautiful space for outdoor games. It can accommodate 2 guests and is perfect for extra guests who would like some added privacy. The cabin offers a beautiful open space with a King bed, bedside table and lamps, a chair with a footrest, a dining table with 2 chairs, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and stylish rugs. There is a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, a toaster oven, and a sink. You will also find a nice bathroom with a shower/tub combo here. The cabin is equipped with a wall heater and a ceiling fan.
The Upper Madison Valley is one of the most exciting and beautiful places to cast a fly in the state of Montana. With an abundance of rivers, lakes, and streams, fly fishing opportunities are endless and easily accessible. The Madison River begins all the way in Yellowstone National Park and flows over 180 miles until its confluence with the Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers. With several different sections, above the lakes, between the lakes, the Upper Madison, and the Lower Madison, there is an abundance of different spots, water types, and fish species to target. The Madison is a favorite among locals, tourists, and guides alike, with great fishing year-round. There are numerous fly fishing guides and fly shops in Ennis, along with the annual Fly Fishing Festival in Ennis during late summer or early fall.

Property Review
'The view from this property is unbeatable! From the moment you walk onto the expansive back deck, you want to find any excuse to be out there. We would lounge in the mornings, drinking coffee and looking out over the beautiful river and mountains beyond. In the afternoons and early evenings, we’d enjoy snacks on the deck and watch the wildlife – all kinds of birds, ducks, and families of deer. At night, we’d go outside before bed to look up at the millions of stars and then drift off to sleep with the windows open, listening to the calming sound of the river. The house itself is cozy and relaxing and comfortable, with a smaller guesthouse behind that is perfect for a little more privacy. The kitchen has everything you need and more, and the bathrooms are spacious and updated. Overall, a property with loads of character you can tell has been loved and well taken care of. Located just 5 minutes from town, we had a wonderful time in Ennis visiting the shops, boutiques, restaurants and breweries more than once. I can’t wait to come back for another visit!'
